At KOLME, flowers are not something to learn.
They are something to feel—a doorway to knowing yourself more deeply.
I do not offer classes where techniques are taught from teacher to student.
That structure has never felt true to what I want to share.
Instead, I welcome each guest as a companion—
someone with whom I can simply enjoy the presence of flowers.
My role is not to train.
My role is to hold space.
In the quiet of the atelier, I prepare an environment where you can relax, breathe,
and let your senses open.
A private lesson allows me to spend unhurried time with you,
to create a gentle rhythm where you can fully taste the experience of flowers.
You may come with a beloved friend, of course—
but the priority is always that you can meet the flowers deeply.
Soft daylight fills the room.
The scent of fresh branches and petals lingers in the air.
Here, you can slow down enough to ask yourself:
What moves me?
How do I want to shape the flowers in front of me?
What do I feel right now, in this moment?
Flowers are simply the tool.
Because when we face flowers, something inside us softens.
We return—quietly, naturally—to our truest self.
Techniques exist, and I share what is necessary.
But how much you wish to learn is entirely up to you.
Even understanding one small step can open a new doorway.
At KOLME, what matters is not skill.
It is the small awakening you take home with you—
a moment of “Oh… I didn’t realize that before.”
Through flowers, we begin to hear our inner voice more clearly.
We become more honest with ourselves.
A little more spacious.
A little more accepting.
A little more grounded in who we are.
KOLME is a quiet corner of Tokyo—
a second room of your own.
A place to unwind, reconnect,
and spend a precious moment with the person you often forget to meet:
yourself.
Welcome to your special place in the city.
Welcome to KOLME.
